Well...

Christmas is over. It is a very sad day for me. Does anyone else hate that feeling right after all the gifts have been opened? I get instantly depressed because i know that now in just a matter of days all the decorations and holiday happiness will be over.

I cant wait until next Christmas already! : )

Much needed photographs

So... you all I'm sure have heard about the gingerbread makin contest! There have been some askin for the "proof." You be the judge.. keep in mind... Gingerbread houses are supposed to be made of candy and frosting and other items you could eat! Just remember when looking at the pictures!

Tis the season to be merry?

Yes, it tis the time. Finals week! Ugh. Wish me luck! Good news is I only have three and only two are tests. I just cant wait till they are over. I am stressin just a little. : )

Another piece of good news is after my last exam at 730 AM on FRIDAY, (yes they do make people get up that early. i never knew. : ) ) I get to go home for a whole month for break! That will be so nice! I know I come home alot. But now I get to stay for more than just the weekend and not have to drive so freaking much!

AHHHHHHHHH

So.. I just got home for thanksgiving break about fourty five minutes ago. I had to register for classes for winter term at 8pm. That was my "time slot." I am all excited to register because I told myself, if i am able to set up my schedule so that I am able to come home tuesday evenings for training to go to India on a missions trip, then I am meant to go on it. Hope thats not too confusing.. anyway. So i have been waiting and waiting to sign up for classes as you could imagine. I go to do it, i sign up for my writting class and math class, then soon find out the dumb asses over at oregon state art department decided not to switch me over to the art major.. making it very hard to sign up for art classes when you must be an art major to get into them. Im freaking out at this moment. Now I am away from campus, only able to talk to the stupid advisor over the phone.. oh and to top it all off.. the photography class and two of my art classes are already full. Which makes my layout of the next few years all screwed up. OH and I highly doubt I will have much control over my schedule now and most likely will not be able to go on that mission trip. sweet! Gosh this has been fun. Thanks for listening to me complain.

Life as a musical?

Scott and I have decided that if our life was like a musical... everything and everyone would be so much happier! Who could really be upset when someone just breaks out into song and dance while walking down the street. It would just put you in a better mood!

Just sit and think about it for a second... It's one to ponder about. : )

College Life

Well so far so good... last night was a little hard for me. My roommie doesnt come till tomorrow morning so I am alone in my room for two nights. I went over to scotts place with my friend Andi and her boyfriend Eric. We watched Almost Famous (good movie : ) ) Then I came back to my dorm watched like an hour of Devil Wears Prada and took some sleeping pills and fell right to sleep. Thank goodness. I slept pretty much all through the night. Which I guess was pretty good compared to my friends who kept waking up cause there bed sucked, or cause it was loud. Bummer for them. Hehe. Well this is alot of rambling but im sorta bored.. waiting to go to dinner with scott, eric, andi, and kelsey. Should be fun times. Well that is all. Think of me tomorrow around 9 am when my roommate moves in. I just hope we get along and she likes the setup of the room I chose... Well that is all. Have a great night yall. Missin you already.

I DID IT!!!!!

I totally got my tattoo yesterday!
-Thank you to Sarah and her children, my mom and also to my dearest friend Andi. I couldnt have done it without you guys. I also want to thank God. Through him everything is possible. ( I made it sound like a oscar award!! you like?)

Anyway... I love my tattoo and im so happy I did it!! I realized I may die tomorrow, and I want to live my life with risks and adventures. I think thats the way that everyone should strive to live their lives like. Those are my intense thoughts for the day. Have a fabulous night!

What I should be doing...

Well like most people, im way to lazy to do what I really should be doing right now, which is pack. I leave in a week from today and have not started packing. I have everything ready to go just not in boxes. Im kinda pushing it off as much as I can. I told my dad yesterday don't worry ill do it sometime this week. He laughed and said well you better since you only have this week left. I dont know, this is a lame blog. But you all are reading it anyway. Because I bet we are all on blogger reading other peoples blogs for the main purpose of avoiding something we should be doing. That is all. Oh and my super sweet picture of the dragon fly, is just for you to enjoy.

Tattoo?

Ok... So I have been thinking alot lately about getting a tattoo! Now. I need some opinions. First off do I even get one? Second.. how do you like my design? (thinking about maybe having MacMillan written right below it) And thirdly... where do i put it!? The only place that seems to fit is my lower middle back. Too trampy? HELP!!

Oh the design is a celtic knot that has the symbol for Holy Trinity (Father, Son, Holy spirit.)

Ok so this is not even on the same level as the James picture.. However these kids do for sure put a smile on your face! Baby Kate has an awful lot to live up to! These kids have the personalitly as well as the looks. See pictures for evidence!

THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!!

So. Just got back from Corvallis. FIRST OSU FOOTBALL GAME! Guess what.. WE WON! Alright enought with my shouting. Well my parents, myself, and Andria Parsons went down just for the night to see the Oregon state vs. Utah game. It was the first game. Also was a pre-season game. It was alot of fun. Andi and I sat/stood in the student section! AH! We are students at a university! Dear lord. Sorry had to tweak for a second. Anyway, my parents sat a ways down in their season ticket area. Its pretty cool! Over 40,000 fans were there pretty much all in orange! It was a sight to see. I can't wait for school to actually start and to start meeting people. I think that will make the games even more fun!

ZOO!!!

I swear!!

Ok I swear i'm not racist. Just some things make me chuckle a little. So at work today I went back into the dish washer area/ kitchen and in there they were playing the loudest mexican music.. I actually stood there for a minute pondering this as I was gathering my silverwear. What if they hired a white person to work in the back. Would they have to be back there and listen to that music all day? I seriously think I would shoot myself. By the way its not just today that they were playing it. It is everyday. Just today I thought that I would share this with you. As I was putting all my silverwear in my oh so cool bin I thought you know, I should blog about this. HAHA. It has got me hooked.

Oh ps.. I just got home from watching High School Musical TWO! I made scott record it for me so we could watch it. I have to admit. I kinda sorta really enjoyed it. : )

Seven hours of my life

I spent seven hours of my life today working on a slideshow of some past and recent pictures that I have taken and a couple that were just perfect fits for this "assignment." My dad is preaching at our church this coming sunday, and had asked me to make this slideshow to the lyrics of Turn, Turn, Turn by The Byrds. (Im sure you all know that song! Love it!) Anyway, so i thought it would be really easy to do this slideshow. I was wrong. For some reason it took me seven hours to complete it. This is after I had already taken all of the pictures but two. Man alive do I hate my parents computer. Im so used to my little macbook now that I have forgotten how incredibly slow and annoying our home computer is. Oh man. It gets me mad just thinking about it. Ok but to top of the stressful day I had with this dang slideshow thing is, I rushed to get it done cause a guy at our church wanted it by tonight. He didnt even show up to pick it up. What a punk right? Oh and to really top it all off, I was sick. Note to all.. dont eat a hot dog from the airshow. I think I ate bad "meat."

Fine arts major..?

Most of you know that i want to be a photographer in the future. If you didnt, well now you do! I went down to Oregon State with my mom on thursday. That was a hellish experience. We were late to both of our appointments. We looked like the cool kids looking at the map standing in the middle of the campus trying to find which building we were supposed to be in. After we figured it out i was able to talk to the fine arts dude. He kinda helped me decide if i should be a fine arts major or a business major. Now the problem with the fine arts major is that with that i have to not just take the photography classes but i also have to take drawing, painting, sculpting and crap that seems really cool. However, my skills in that area dont go much further than coloring inside the lines in my cool princess coloring book. Yes i really do have a princess coloring book. Any who.. i walked away from that appointment stressed and relieved all at the same time. I did decide to do the fine arts major. Maybe ill find my true calling in putting some twine together in a piece of "art." No offense to anyone who may have made a piece of art out of twine at some point in their life. Well thats all the rambling i have for tonight. Going to bed soon. Goodnight.
